Smile please..

Sunday evening (1st May 2005) , started for a walk with Amita(PG mate) on the road of Kormangala, Bangalore. Suddenly felt to go GKVale shop just for a window shopping.

Rarely read any review about camera, just had an idea that digital camera is all no reel changing. Though worked with DSP processor ( analog devices) and knew that sampling theorem needs only 2points to reconstuct a signal, still I was not aware of the technicality of a digital camera. The shopkeeper started explaining models from canon, olympus.. sony, many more.. He could very well notice the satisfaction in my face by hearing SONY.. Started explaining, 'madam.. see this is one of the latest version launched in the market.. see the compactness 5 megapixel (3 megapixel is enough for a good picture), 3X optical zoom, 10x digital zoom, f2.8-5.2/7.9-23,7mm Vario-Tessar lens ..... DSC P100'.

Hardly I had Rs500/- in my purse.. Rs20,400/- deal was too much for me that time. To make the situation in shopkeeper favour, the salesperson told me 'credit card will do'. He didnt forgot to mention that ICICI credit card had EMI option with zero interest. 'ZERO INTEREST', without giving the next thought I simply got my card out of my purse.. Next moment, the most desired digital CAMERA was with me.

Now I can say to all "Smile Please..".
