Rasgulla

Cooking was never my cup of tea.. Today felt like making something, never tried.. After so much thinking I felt to go for 'RASGULLA". The reason - if it was going to be hard, I could make "RASMALAI" out of it.

I sat for searching 'RASGULLA" in YOUTUBE. Below is the link

I didnt forget to go through the FAQ

Q1# rasgullas became hard
A1# knead the paneer for 3 - 4 minutes until it is almost smooth

Q2# size did not expand
A2# Drop balls in "ras" when vapor coming off form the whole liquid surface-not earlier not later

Q3#got dissolved in the sugar soup
A3#take more water out of paneer

Q4# rasgulla cracked
A4# Add 1tsp suji , 1tsp maida, 1tsp butter to chena (out of 1L milk).


I started preparation for almost 1hr as I made the chena out of milk. Just put the Rasgullas in the refrigerator. In my mind, started calculating 'If 6rasgulla takes 1hr, how much time it takes to prepare 12 rasgulla. ". Thanks to Manjula, making me to cook. Waiting for my husband to back from office.

At last I can show him "RASGULLA" prepared by me !!!
